Star Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has been dropped from the team’s national squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. He was one of the major headlines of social media during the Indian Premier League 2023 after his heated altercation with the former RCB skipper and veteran batter, Virat Kohli in a league stage match.
It all happened after the conclusion of the group stage match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Lucknow Super Giants. Naveen was also on the end of harsh trolls and criticizing remarks from the Indian cricket fans after he reportedly misbehaved with Virat Kohli.
Earlier before this incident of IPL 2023, Naveen-ul-Haq had also been in the news headlines for his on-field behaviour with some senior players, including the likes of former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi, former pacer Mohammad Amir, and Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera.
