On 23 July 2023, the final of the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka as India A took on Pakistan A. India came to this clash being unbeaten throughout the tournament. They even defeated the Men in Green in the group stage. So, an epic match was waiting for those teams and their respective fans.

Speaking of the match, Yash Dhull won the toss and asked Pakistan A to bat first. Both openers, Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan gave a tremendous start to their team as they put up a 121-run opening partnership. Ayub scored 59 runs off 51 balls, including seven fours and two sixes while Farhan scored 65 runs off 62 balls, including four fours and sixes each. 

Pakistan A defeated India A by 128 runs in the final 

After that, India's bowlers managed some quick wickets as Pakistan lost their fifth wicket when they were on 187 runs in 28.4 overs. After that, Tayyab Tahir and Mubasir Khan had a 126-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Tahir scored 108 runs off 71 balls, including 12 fours and four sixes. Mubasir also scored 35 runs and finally, they scored 352 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs. For India, both Riyan Parag and Rajvardhan Hangargekar took two wickets each while Harshit Rana, Manav Suthar, and Nishant Sindhu took one wicket each.

In reply, India had a good opening stand of 64 runs in 8.3 overs as Sai Sudharsan got out on 29 runs. Nikin Jose also got out on 11 runs but both the wickets turned out to be controversial as fans were not happy on social media. Skipper Yash Dhull scored 39 runs but apart from him, no other batters managed to score big as they got bundled out for 224 runs in 40 overs. Thus, Pakistan A won the match by 128 runs. Sufiyan Muqeem took three wickets while Mohammad Wasim, Mehran Mumtaz, and Arshad Iqbal took two wickets each. Tayyab Tahir won the Player of the Match award while Nishant Sindhu won the Player of the series award.
