The Indian T20 League is unarguably the biggest T20 league in the world. Even some of the best players in the world have struggled to stamp their authority over here. Thus, players across the globe dream of featuring in this tournament.
Unfortunately for the players in Pakistan, they aren't a part of this league. Having said that, a few Pakistan players would have certainly enjoyed playing in the Indian T20 League. Besides, the men in green do have some cricketers who have been absolutely brilliant in the shortest format of the game.
Thus, Shoaib Akhtar recently gave a hypothetical version of the same. He recently picked a few Pakistan players, and put them into Indian T20 League teams. While speaking to Sportskeeda, the legendary pacer picked the teams in which some of Pakistan's superstars would ideally be in. First things first, he felt that Shoaib Malik would play for Lucknow.

While explaining the same, he stated that the middle-order batter loves to play for new teams. After which, he said that Azhar Ali would be playing for Rajasthan because the 2008-champions buy players at a small price. Thus, he was of the opinion that they would develop Ali as their opener. However, the biggest player he spoke about was none other than Babar Azam.
Akhtar said that Pakistan's all-format captain would have played for Mumbai. This was indeed a bold assumption from the former Pakistan pacer as the Mumbai-based franchise are the most successful team in the Indian T20 League. Akhtar said that they would have spent a lot of money to acquire his services. Further on, he also stated that Azam would have been the top star in Mumbai.
Further on, Akhtar also felt that Mohammad Rizwan would have been playing for Bangalore. He felt the same because Virat Kohli likes fit and sharp players. In the meanwhile, the 46-year-old also stated that Asif Ali would have been a part of Kolkata. Last but not the least, Akhtar also felt that Shaheen Afridi would have played for Delhi. Thus, his assumptions were interesting, to say the least.
