According to Cricbuzz, Mitchell Marsh will miss one week of IPL 2023 action when he travels to Australia for his wedding. Since April and May are Australia's off-season months, most players get married after they have finished their professional obligations.

Rovman Powell could be a good replacement for Mitchell Marsh

In both games, Marsh was a member of DC's starting lineup. He was dismissed for a first-ball duck in the opening match against Lucknow Super Giants. Marsh scored 4 runs off the same number of balls in the second game. DC may substitute Rovman Powell in the starting XI for Marsh if he is not present. The West Indies T20I captain might bat in the lower middle order if included.

The opening combination of David Warner and Prithvi Shaw will remain the same. They will start the game. Warner contributed significant hits in both games, but his strike rate has been subpar. Shaw, however, has not yet played a significant knock. He has accomplished 12 and 7.

The game against Rajasthan is crucial for Delhi since another loss will give them three straight losses. Their NRR is only -1.703, which is subpar. Rajasthan has only won once in its last two games. Sanju Samson's team began the IPL 2023 season with a commanding 72-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in a road contest. RR lost their second game to Punjab Kings by a narrow margin of 5 runs.

Notably, Rajasthan Royals are playing their first two home games in Guwahati as they have chosen the Assamese city as their second home. They are not the only IPL side to play in two home grounds. Even Punjab Kings have chosen the Dharamshala stadium as their second home and will play a few of their home games there.
