India’s vice-captain in white-ball cricket, KL Rahul turned 30 on Monday. On Saturday, he gifted himself the a perfect present by becoming the first ever player to score a century in his 100th Indian T20 League match.

KL Rahul’s career graph in the last few years has only moved upwards. The Indian cricketer has also become a better version of himself with time. His records in the Indian T20 League is staggering.
Currently, he is leading the Lucknow franchise in the Indian T20 League. On Saturday, he scored his first ever century for the franchise in the tournament and, with that, also jumped to second spot on the orange cap list.
The 30-year old, previously, represented Punjab in the cash-rich league and scored the most runs for the franchise for three consecutive seasons. He was the second highest run-scorer in the 2019 edition, scored the most runs in 2020 edition and was the third highest-run scorer in the last season.
The Lucknow skipper is batting brilliantly in the ongoing edition as well and is expected to, once again, top the run charts. His numbers for India also inspire a lot of confidence.
The 30-year old cricketer has so far represented India in 42 ODIs and has scored 1634 runs at an average of 46.7. Besides, in 56 T20 internationals, he has 1831 runs to his name at 40.7.
A lot of Indian as well as foreign cricketer took to Twitter to extend wishes to the Indian cricketer on his birthday. KL Rahul’s girlfriend, Athiya Shethi also wrote a heartfelt caption, while wishing him on his birthday.
