Naseem Shah is one the most promising pacers from Pakistan in the current cricketing world. Since his introduction, he has impressed everyone with his pace and variations. But, now he has come into the headlines as a video has gone viral. In that video, Naseem was found saying that he does not know the name of the former Protea fast bowler, Allan Donald.
Allan Donald was one of the best fast bowlers in the history of South Africa. So, it was quite surprising for fans that a young pacer like Naseem is unaware of Donald. However, the video was from a TV show titled ‘The Fourth Umpire’. Along with Naseem Shah, the former Test batter from Pakistan, Azhar Ali was present in the show.
Here is the shared video:

Naseem Shah took seven wickets in nine matches of PSL 8
During that show, the host of the show Fahad Mustafa asked Naseem about Allan Donald. In reply, the young pacer said: “McDonald’s ka suna hai, Allan Donald ka nahi”. Hearing that, Azhar Ali could not stop himself from having a laugh. In the same show, the pacer also opened up about the first meeting he had with Azhar Ali. Naseem Shah said: It was the first time when I felt I like clicking pictures with someone, so I went up to him and asked, ‘Ajju bhai can we take a picture’.” Naseem recently played in the ongoing Pakistan Super League for Quetta Gladiators. He took seven wickets in nine matches in the tournament.
Speaking about the career of Naseem Shah, he has played five ODIs so far and taken 18 wickets, at an economy of 5.04. He has played 16 T20Is and taken 14 wickets, at an economy of 7.16. Now, Naseem will be in action again in the home T20I series against Afghanistan. The three-match series will kick off on 24 March and will run until 27 March. All matches will be played in Sharjah.
