“In the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ambati Tirupati Rayudu has joined YSRCP at the CM’s camp office”. Just two weeks after the message was posted the latest turn of events has taken place.

Once considered a young prodigy, Ambati Rayudu took Indian Cricket by storm in the age-group levels. After a few off-the-field issues, young Rayudu decided to leave Hyderabad to move bases. The right-handed batter then joined the now-defunct ICL and was banned by the Indian Cricket Board.

Once he left the league and gained impunity, Ambati Rayudu joined Mumbai Indians in 2010. For the next eight years, Rayudu was a key member of the MI side and won three IPL titles and two Champions League titles.

In 2018, Rayudu joined Chennai Super Kings and went on to win the IPL on three more occasions. In 2013, Rayudu made his ODI debut and went on to play 55 Matches for India and score over 1600 runs. The talented batter was famously left out of the Indian team for the 2019 ODI World Cup.
