India are in Bangladesh to face off in a three-match ODI series and the two teams faced off against each other in the first ODI on December 4, Sunday. As things stand, it was Litton Das who won the toss and forced India to bat first on a bowling-friendly pitch, putting the Men in Blue on the back foot right away. Much to the stupefaction of the Indian fans, the openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma got out for cheap scores.
To add more, while Dhawan got out for 7 runs, Rohit, the Indian skipper, made his way back to the dressing room after scoring only 27 runs. The Indian superstar Virat Kohli, who is in red-hot form, eventually managed to score only 9 runs off 15 balls and put team India in deep trouble. After being on the receiving end for all these times, it was KL Rahul who lifted team India from the labyrinth.
The right-handed batter scored 73 runs off 70 balls and helped India put on a decent total of 186 on the board at the end of the first innings. Although it was a low total, fans believed that the Indian pace attack had all it takes to win the match. Kuldeep Sen, the right-arm pacer, made his debut for the Men in Blue and proved his potential with the ball as he picked up two scalps to his name.
Thrilling finish to India-Bangladesh clash at Sher-e-Bangla
Concerning the chase, the Bangla Tigers got off to a good start and looked on course to chase down the total comfortably. However, it was only until the fall of skipper Litton Das as the batter perished for 41 runs and put his team in deep trouble. Eventually, Bangladesh, who were reeling at 74/3, eventually crumbled to 136/9 in no time.
In the absence of Mohammed Shami, it was Mohammed Siraj who stood up for India and produced a comeback with his three-for. Eventually, with a fighting innings from Mehidy Hasan, Bangladesh won the match with one wicket to spare and took an early lead in the much-anticipated series.

India is not winning World Cup 2023 with this mediocre team. The team management is more concerned with managing workload than fielding the best team. Fielders look jaded, batsmen out of form, and bowlers tentative. #BANvIND

Not a single bowler in the side who can execute the yorkers ... You need to prepare death over specialists. If Coaches are not able to understand these things, what are they even doing?
