The mini-auction for the next edition of the Indian T20 League is set to take place in Kochi later this month on the 23rd of December. Recently, the Indian Cricket Board also announced a list of 405 players including 119 capped players alongside 282 uncapped and 4 players from the associate nations.

In the announced list of players, the 15-year-old teenager and young cricketer from Afghanistan has come up as a shocking revelation from the cricketing fraternity. He might be the youngest player in the history of the Indian T20 League if he gets picked by any team during the auction for the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League.
The Paktia-based young spinner Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar has played only three domestic T20 matches so far. In these matches, the 15-year-old teenager has scalped five wickets with the best performance of 4/15 in a domestic match.
Ghazanfar has also talked about his inspiration in international cricket. He said that the veteran Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is his idol and motivation to deliver the best at the highest level of cricket.

“Ashwin has been a champion spinner for India, and I like his variations. I have always considered him my inspiration,” said Ghazanfar to Sportstar on Tuesday.
“I started with tennis ball cricket and would play in my neighborhood, but under the guidance of my coach, I started bowling spin, and soon, I developed an action, and there hasn’t been any looking back since,” he added later.

There are 19 foreign cricketers who have a reserve price of INR 2 crores which is the highest price slot for them.
11 cricketers will have a base price of INR 1.5 crores. Whereas the number of players in the bracket of INR 1 crore as a base price is 20. The two Indians in the bracket of 1 crore are Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey.
