We are into Day 8 of the Abu Dhabi T10 League and what a journey it has been. We have seen some big scores being hunted down, some low scores being defended and almost every game has been a nailbiter. So what's in store for Day 8?
November 26 will see Bangla Tigers and Team Abu Dhabi clash in the 17th game of the season. Team Abu Dhabi has been on a rampage and have won all their games so far. However, Bangla Tigers seem to peaked after a shaky start. The team is on a three-match winning streak.
The strength of both teams have been their batting. Johnson Charles, Hazratullah Zazai , Will Jacks have been in great hitting form for the Tigers in the last three games. There is Faf du Plessis as well in the team.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi have the best batting lineup in the tournament, with Phil Salt, Paul Stirling, Liam Livingstone, Chris Gayle and Colin Ingram at their disposal. So brace yourself for some action-packed game.
In the second game of the Day, Chennai Braves will take on Deccan Gladiators. Braves have had a poor outing in the tournament and are the only team that is yet to win a game. While there have been few good innings by Angelo Perera, Dasun Shanaka and Bhanuka Rajapaksa, as a team they have failed to click. Also, the strike rates of the players have been on the lower side.
On the other hand, Deccan Gladiators have won three and lost two games. They were outplayed by Bangla Tigers in the last game but overall, they have been pretty good, with the Tom Moores, Tom Banton, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Andre Russell, David Weise in some fine form. This too is expected to be a high scoring affair.
