Abu Dhabi T10: Day 9 Review: Warriors, Tigers, Gladiators register wins

Day 9 of the Abu Dhabi T10 League witnessed three thrilling games. In the first game, Northern Warriors stunned Team Abu Dhabi by 10 wickets.

Day 9 of the Abu Dhabi T10 League witnessed three thrilling games. In the first game, Northern Warriors stunned Team Abu Dhabi by 10 wickets. Chasing a target of 145, Warriors cruised to a win. Moeen Ali scored a blazing 77 of 23 balls, while Kennar Lewis notched up 65 from 32 balls.

Earlier, a magnificent 61 off 25 balls by Colin Ingram helped Abu Dhabi post a daunting total. Ingram was well supported by Paul Stirling and Liam Livingstone who scored 28 off 11 and 27 off 11 respectively.

In the next game, Bangla Tigers registered their fifth consecutive win. It's been a remarkable turnaround for the Tigers who had lost their first two games. Not only the wins, but the margins of wins have been staggering. In today game, they handed Chennai Braves their sixth loss in the tournament, winning the game by 9 wickets. Once again Hazratullah Zazai and Johnson Charles put on a show and scored 46 off 16 and 30 off 15 respectively.

Earlier, Chennai Braves experienced yet another poor outing with the bat and could only manage 89-4 in their 10 overs.

The final game of the day was played between Delhi Bulls and Deccan Gladiators and it was the latter who picked up a comprehensive eight wicket win. Chasing a target of 95, Gladiators reached the score with 23 balls to spare. Tom Banton scored 46 off 18, while Najibullah Zadran made 35 off 11. Earlier, the Bulls failed to post a competitive total as none of the batters could make any significant contribution. Romario Shepherd top-scored for Bulls with 26 off 10.
