Leading the bowling attack in the first over, Saurashtra skipper Jaydev Unadkat completely destroyed Delhi’s batting order. He bagged a hat-trick in the first over by scalping the wickets of both openers Dhruv Shorey, Ayush Badoni, and skipper Yash Dhull.

The 31-year-old veteran domestic pacer and the hosts’ skipper Unadkat completed his five-wicket haul only in the second over by conceding only five runs in two overs.

The fans were also in a state of both shock and ecstasy as Unadkat has now become the first-ever bowler in the history of the Ranji Trophy to bag a hat-trick only in the first over. They took to Twitter to lavish praises on the veteran domestic pacer.
