Jasprit Bumrah is currently missing the whole Indian T20 League for the Mumbai franchise due to his back injury. It’s been a while since he has played any competitive cricket. Last year, Bumrah missed both the Asia Cup and the 20-20 World Cup for team India. However, fans were hoping that he can be fit before the Indian T20 League 2023.

But, he failed, and now, Sandeep Warrier has replaced him in the Mumbai squad. Now, an image has gone viral where Jasprit Bumrah was seen attending an event with his wife, Sanjana Ganesan. Seeing that image, fans went crazy and slammed him all over social media as they raised questions about his injury.

Speaking of the image, the couple was seen visiting the NMACC event in Mumbai. Apart from them, Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar also visited with their respective families. During the pre-season press conference, Mumbai skipper, Rohit Sharma said that Jasprit Bumrah will be a big miss for them throughout this season. He said: "It will be a big miss. It is sad, but we do understand how big his shoes are to fill." However, he further added that it will open opportunities for many players and they need to grab it with both hands. 

Rohit said: "There is an opportunity that is up for grabs, to fill that place. A lot of young players will get an opportunity and this is a platform for them to come out and express themselves. There are a couple of guys who have been with this team for the last two years and they are very much ready to step up." Jasprit Bumrah last played for team India in September 2022. Recently reports came out from the Indian Express that the injury status of Bumrah is being kept a secret. Only the former India cricketer VVS Laxman is allowed to talk with him and the physios. Even, many on the Indian Cricket Board are unaware of it.
