Team India will begin their West Indies tour on 12 July with the first Test of the two-match series. Both teams will look for a positive start to their WTC 2023-25 cycle. However, fans are eagerly waiting to see which players will finally get the nod in the final playing XI. Young players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Ishan Kishan can make their Test debut also.

However, ahead of the clash, Team India players had some intense practice sessions. Now, a video has gone viral where Virat Kohli was seen with a naughty and funny prank on Ishan. Other players also burst into laughter and now, fans have shared their views on social media. Ishan was a part of the squad for the recent World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia.

Team India recently lost the WTC final against the Aussies. Ishan did not get a chance in the playing XI as India went with KS Bharat as the wicketkeeper. On the other hand, Kohli had a disappointing outing with the bat. However, recently, in a chat with Star Sports, Kohli shared his favourite memory of playing in the West Indies.

He said: “My best and favourite memory from West Indies is scoring a double hundred in Test cricket in front of Sir Viv Richards and that was very special to me. He congratulated me and it can’t get any better than that”.  

Ishan Kishan is yet to make his debut in the longest format of the game for the Men in Blue. But, he has played 27 T20Is and scored 653 runs, including four fifties. While, in 13 ODI innings, he has scored 510 runs, including three fifties and one double century. However, KS Bharat is still reportedly ahead of him to get a chance in the playing XI in the first Test.
