On 23 August 2023, India became the first country to land on the south pole of the moon when Chandrayaan 3 completed its soft landing successfully at 6.04 pm. All eyes were on it as it was India’s second attempt after Chandrayaan 2’s failure in 2019. MS Dhoni was not an exception as he was seen watching it live in a viral video.

Even, the video went viral as Dhoni was seen celebrating the success of another significant milestone in space exploration for India. On 14 July 2023, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched Chandrayaan-3 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 2:35 pm.

The main aim behind this mission is to put a lander and rover in the highlands near the Moon's south pole and demonstrate the country's end-to-end landing and roving capabilities. While celebrating, the former Team India skipper was seen clapping his thighs. He was dressed in a tank t-shirt and shorts. 

Meanwhile, Dhoni is currently getting fit and in his rehabilitation period as he is recovering after a successful surgery on his injured knee after IPL 2023. Dhoni guided Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to the triumph and it was his fifth IPL trophy as captain. Hence, he became the joint-most successful skipper along with Rohit Sharma with five titles. However, Dhoni also confirmed after the final that he is most likely to play one more year for his fans and will look to be ready ahead of the next season.

However, many images have gone viral in recent times where Dhoni was seen as much fitter. Despite that knee injury, Dhoni managed to play all the matches in the last season of IPL. His commitment to the team left fans in awe and throughout the tournament, he came up with some significant impactful knocks whenever the team needed it most.
