Team India failed to make a comeback in the second T20I after losing the series opener against West Indies. After another loss in the second game, India are now on the brink of losing the five-match series. However, Hardik Pandya got slammed brutally on social media after two consecutive losses. Yuzvendra Chahal bowled brilliantly in the game as he picked up two wickets for 19 runs in three overs.

Especially, during the 16th over, he took two wickets and a run-out happened as the Men in Blue made a roaring comeback into the game. But, after that, Pandya did not consider Chahal for another over and that left all fans surprised. Regarding such a mishap, the former Team India bowler, Venkatesh Prasad came up with a tweet to take a dig at the skipper. He also termed the performance of the team in two white-ball formats has been very ordinary.

Speaking of the tweet, he wrote: Very very ordinary. No point in brushing it aside. After the 2007 T20 World Cup, IPL started and we haven’t won a T20 World Cup in 7 attempts since, making only 1 finals. The intensity and hunger to win needs to be far more . Yesterday after Yuzi took 2 wkts in the 16th, and Yuzi got India back into the game in what was his third over and West Indies 8th down and he didn’t bowl again and No 9 and 10 for WI found the pacers easy to handle. Should be smarter at these moments then just doing textbook stuff.” 

However, during the post-match presentation, Pandya slammed the batters for their poor performance. He said: "That was not a pleasing batting performance by us. The wickets were falling and the track was on the slower side. We were not good enough to get to 160+. The way Pooran has been batting makes it difficult to rotate spinners. Doesn't matter if someone takes the ball away or into him. The way he batted from two for two, it was incredible.”
