In the opening Twenty20 encounter of the three-match series on Friday (March 24), Afghanistan's men's cricket team trounced Pakistan by six wickets, writing history in the process. Afghanistan defeated Pakistan in T20 Internationals for the first time ever. Afghanistan bowled out Pakistan for their fifth-lowest T20I total ever before chasing it down with 2.1 overs remaining and winning the game. Pakistan, who won the toss and elected to bat first, only managed to score 92 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs.
