Indian T20 League is one of the biggest T20 carnivals that took place every year in India. Players from all around the globe visit India to represent their respective franchises. However, on 15 November 2022, all franchises submitted their final retained and released players list to the Board.

After that, fans were surprised by not seeing some players in their respective teams. Now, the mini-auction will take place in Kochi on 23 December 2022. So, all teams are getting prepared for that auction. Some players will be there who can attract big money in this upcoming Indian T20 League auction from franchises.  

Here are five top players who can earn more than Rs 10 Crore in the upcoming Indian T20 League auction 

Sam Curran

This star all-rounder from England can be a huge hit in the upcoming Indian T20 League auction. Sam Curran played an instrumental role in England’s recent 20-20 World Cup-winning campaign in 2022. Curran picked 13 wickets in six matches, at an economy of 6.52. He also won the player of the tournament award.

He also has a decent record in this league as he has represented different franchises like Punjab and Chennai. In 32 matches, he has scored 337 runs at a strike rate of 149.78 while batting down the order. Even, with the ball, he has taken 32 wickets at an economy of 9.21. Thus, his all-around abilities can become an asset for any franchise in this upcoming season.

Cameron Green

This star all-rounder has made headlines in recent months with his performance for Australia. In the three-match T20I series in India, he was the highest scorer with 118 runs. Cameron Green scored those runs at an average of 39.33 but with a staggering strike rate of 214.54. In the last match of that series, he scored the fastest fifty against India (19 balls).

Green is also very handy with the ball. In the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, he scored 114 runs in two matches along with two wickets. So, his all-around abilities can draw a lot of attraction from teams n this upcoming Indian T20 League auction. 

Ben Stokes

This star all-rounder had a great 20-20 World Cup-winning campaign for England. In the final against Pakistan, Ben Stokes scored 52* runs off 49 balls, including five fours and one six. Then, in the last group-stage game against Sri Lanka, he scored a vital 42* run and helped England to get qualified for the semi-final. 

Even, he is one of the experienced players who has played in this tournament for different franchises. Till now, he has played 43 matches where Stokes has scored 920 runs at a strike rate of 134.50. With the ball, he has taken 28 wickets at an economy of 8.56. Thus, this player can earn big money in this upcoming Indian T20 League auction.   

Mayank Agarwal

Punjab franchise released their captain, Mayank Agarwal ahead of this new season. They have appointed Shikhar Dhawan as their new captain. However, In the Indian T20 League 2022, Agarwal scored 196 runs in 13 matches at an average of 16.33. He managed only one fifty throughout the season.

Till now, in this tournament, Mayank Agarwal has played 113 matches where he scored 2327 runs at a strike rate of 134.28. So, with such vast experience and being an Indian opening batter, teams can look to spend on this player. He can make headlines in the upcoming Indian T20 League auction.   

Nicholas Pooran

This West Indies batter had a disappointing 20-20 World Cup for West Indies. But, he had a decent session for the Punjab franchise in the Indian T20 League 2022. He scored 306 runs at an average of 38.25 In 14 matches. Still, they released him ahead of the next season of this tournament. 

Recently, Nicholas Pooran became the highest run-scorer in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He scored 345 runs in 10 matches, at a strike rate of 234.69. He even led his team, Deccan Gladiators to glory for the second time in consecutive years. So, all Indian T20 League franchises will keep an eye on this batter in the upcoming auction based on his current form.
