With the game evolving so quickly, we don’t see cricketers playing all three formats on a regular basis. Even playing two formats regularly has become a big task, looking at the fierce competition for places and the T20 leagues emerging across the world. Thus, if would be difficult for any cricketer to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of notching 100 centuries in international cricket. Virat Kohli is coming closer to that but still has a long way to go.

3. Rohit Sharma’s highest ODI score

The game is evolving too fast and teams are scoring 400 runs quite easily in ODI cricket. Besides, the aggressive approach has given the confidence to the batters to score a double-century in ODI cricket. Ishan Kishan recently scored the fastest double-century in ODI cricket. However, despite that, it would take a breathtaking effort for anyone to break Rohit Sharma’s record for highest individual score in ODIs.

The Indian opener hammered 264 runs in just 173 balls against Sri Lanka in the 4th ODI in 2014. He has three double-centuries to his name in ODIs, the most by any cricketer.

Rahul Dravid is popularly known as the ‘Wall of Indian Cricket’. The bowlers hated facing him, especially in Test Cricket. On many occasions, he would take an eternity to score a single run and would be happy to block everything that came his way- something which bowlers never liked.

He holds the record for facing the most number of deliveries in Test Cricket. The former Indian skipper is the only player who has faced 31,258 deliveries during his Test career. He achieved this milestone in just 164 matches.
