- Sreesanth bowled a maiden in the 2007 World Cup final

Notably, he conceded 44 runs in three overs and the one over he bowled was a maiden. He accomplished the feat against Pakistan’s Younis Khan in the fourth over of the innings.
- Mohammad Amir bowled a maiden in 2009 World Cup final
Pakistan’s left-arm seamer, Mohammed Amir is the youngest bowler to bowl a maiden in the history of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan’s left-arm seamer bowled a maiden in the very first over he bowled and also picked the wicket of T Dilshan.
- Angelo Mathews bowled a maiden in the 2012 World Cup final
Sri Lanka and West Indies locked horns with each other in the final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. All-rounder, Angelo Mathews bowled a maiden in the very first over of the innings and also took the wicket of Johnson Charles.
- Samuel Badree bowled a maiden in the 2016 World Cup final
