Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, received a swift response from Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. Musk most recently challenged Zuckerberg on his Twitter account. He demanded to engage in a "cage fight" with the Meta founder. Some people were surprised by the challenge because Zuckerberg has been practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu ever since the COVID-19 pandemic. Elon Musk called Zuckerberg out, and Zuckerberg responded on his Instagram Stories. In addition, he quoted Khabib Nurmagomedov, a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, in his reply.

The first time Mr. Musk suggested a fight earlier this month when he tweeted that he was "up for a cage match" in response to speculations that the Meta leader was developing a Twitter rival. A screenshot of Mr. Musk's tweet with the message "send me location" was Mr. Zuckerberg's response.

The tale "speaks for itself," according to a spokeswoman for Meta, who also confirmed to The Verge that Mr. Zuckerberg's response was not a joke. On Thursday, Mr. Musk identified a venue, tweeting "Vegas Octagon" in response to the news of the fight, a reference to the UFC Apex Center in Nevada.

Mr. Zuckerberg has previously written on Facebook about his martial arts training and spoken extensively about it in podcast interviews. He trained with potential UFC fighters in the months leading up to his first jiu-jitsu event, which he participated in in May. Along with some images of him participating and gold and silver medal emoji, the 38-year-old posted on Instagram, "Competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team."

The 51-year-old CEO of Tesla, in contrast, asserts that he does not exercise, stating on Wednesday on Twitter that "I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids and throwing them in the air." On a recent podcast, the tech billionaire—who is presently the richest person in the world according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index—hinted that he planned to utilise his special move to outmuscle Mr. Zuckerberg.

“I have a move called ‘The Walrus’, which I used on a friend of mine who’s very agile,” he told the podcast. “But I was like, let me explain to you why there are weight classes in MMA. I’m going to use a move called ‘The Walrus’, where I just lie on you and you can’t get away,” he added.
