Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has congratulated the Indian shooters for winning medals in the ongoing Asian Games 2023. Talking about the women's shooting competition, Sift Kaur Samra won the Gold medal. She finished a whopping 7.3 points ahead of the silver medallist, Zhang Qiongyue of China. Notably, Kaur is currently a student at GGS Medical College, Faridkot.

On the other hand, Ashi Chouksey in the second position with 0.9 points. Apart from Kaur, the likes Manu Bhaker, Rhythm Sangwan & Esha Singh add another golden feather to India's cap.

Meanwhile, the former India skipper Kohli is on the cusp of breaking Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI hundreds. The latter, who last played for India in 2012, happens to have the highest number of centuries to his name in ODI and Test. Meanwhile, Kohli has reached 47 hundred and needs three more to become the first player to reach 50 hundred.

After reaching his 49th hundred against Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2012, Sachin played only one game i.e against Pakistan. In that tournament, the Men In Blue failed to defend the title that they won in 2010. During that tournament, they missed out on the final despite winning two out of three games. Apparently, they needed Sri Lanka to beat Bangladesh but that didn't happen.

Meanwhile, Kohli has made his comeback in the ongoing third ODI against Australia. He will open the batting alongside Rohit Sharma as Ishan Kishan is unavailable for the game due to illness. Also, Shubman Gill was rested for the game. Meanwhile, the way game is going at the moment, the team might need another hundred from Sharma and Kohli to take the team home.
