Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma:

Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma will open the batting for India in the big clash. While Gill made 10 off 32 balls with one four in the first game against Pakistan, Rohit Sharma made 11 off 22 balls with two fours in the first game against the Men in Green. In the next game against Nepal, the opening duo came back to form and struck half-centuries against Nepal. The top-order batters will look to counter Shaheen Afridi.

Middle Order and Wicketkeeper:

Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya:

Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya will be in the middle order for Team India. Ishan Kishan made a good claim for a spot ahead of the World Cup. He made 82 off 81 balls with nine fours and two sixes batting at number four in the first game. Shreyas Iyer will play in the number four slot while Hardik Pandya will likely play at number 6. Kishan will also don the gloves for the Men in Blue. Pandya smashed 87 off 90 balls with seven fours and one six.

Lower Order and Bowlers:

Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj:

The Lower order will comprise of Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav. When it comes to the bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah will comprise the Indian pace attack. To add more heft to the bowling India could bring Mohammed Shami in place of Shardul Thakur.  When it comes to the spin options, Kuldeep Yadav and Jadeja will be the two front liners.

When it comes to news of the Indian Team, KL Rahul sweated out in the nets ahead of the India-Pakistan clash. The Karnataka batter batted against right-arm pacers and left-arm pacers to counter the Pakistan pace threat. Rahul recently received the green signal from the medical team to come and play in the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.
