In the next game against Nepal, the opening duo came back to form and struck half-centuries against Nepal. The top-order batters will look to counter Shaheen Afridi.

Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya will be in the middle order for Team India. Ishan Kishan made a good claim for a spot ahead of the World Cup. The Lower order will comprise of Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav. When it comes to the bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah will comprise the Indian pace attack. To add more heft to the bowling India could bring Mohammed Shami in place of Shardul Thakur. When it comes to the spin options, Kuldeep Yadav and Jadeja will be the two front liners.
